Resources

Trying to decide which travel companies to book your accommodations, tours, experiences, activities, and auto rentals can be overwhelming with the number of options out there.

Luckily, I compiled a list of all the travel companies I use time and time again whenever I travel. So take a peek, and hope you find one to book on your next trip! Have fun! 🙂

ACCOMMODATIONS

Booking.com

Booking.com is probably the largest guide to budget accommodation in the world. The service consistently finds the cheapest rooms. I like its user-friendly interface and no-money-down policy.

Airbnb

Airbnbs are one of my favorite ways to stay in a city. I love that you can find a great house, apartment, or boutique hotel for a weekend getaway, business trip, or short-term stay. I find Airbnbs for the most part, more affordable compared to staying in a 4 or 5-star hotel.

Tripadvisor

TripAdvisor is one of the most well-known trip planning websites online. You’ll find link to restaurants, attractions, and accommodations that businesses and users have added.

Skyscanner

Skyscanner.com is a trusted choice for travel deals on flights, hotels, cars, and more for people. Over 100 million travelers use the site monthly. It specializes in helping people to search from over 1,200 travel providers. A great, reliable choice for travel deals and awesome inventory of travel products.

Expedia

Expedia is always a good choice if you’re a frequent traveler and love getting a good deal/rate on your hotel. This is because Expedia negotiates the best deal with hotel partners. Also, you can find great bundle deals for flight + hotel + car rentals.

Vrbo

Vrbo is where you can book vacation rentals. You can choose from an awesome list of beach houses, condos, cabins, bungalows, cottages, townhouses, studios, hotels, villas, resorts, guest houses, and caravans. But that’s not all, there’s more accommodation options so check it out because there’s something for every type of traveler.

Tour Companies

Viator

Viator is the largest global booking site for travel tours, activities, and attractions. It’s also owned by Tripadvisor.

Groupon

I booked my first tour years ago through Groupon so it has a special place in my heart. I can always find fun, affordable activities, experiences, and tours here.

Get Your Guide

Get Your Guide is a huge online marketplace for tours and excursions. Here you can find lots of options for tours in many cities all over the world

Transportation

Rentalcars.com

Rentalcars.com compiles the costs of many car rental agencies that are open for your desired dates and locations. You begin the reservation process by providing your pick-up location (and, if different, your drop-off location), your trip dates, and the driver’s age.

Budget

My first choice for car rentals. I frequently use Budget for most cities I travel in. Super easy to browse online to search inventory and book your reservation. Quick and easy pickup. Great affordable car rental deals.

Avis

Avis is my second go-to car rental when I travel. They always have a large variety of cars to choose from. There’s a type of car, truck, mini-van, sports car, and convertible for any type of traveler. Fair deals.

Discover Cars

Hands down, best international car rental website with reasonable prices.

Outdoorsy

If you’re into the outdoors, nature, and road tripping then Outdoorsy is for you. Here is a trusted RV rental website. You can browse through their inventory of RVs, camper vans, and travel trailers to book.

RV Share

RV Share is the largest RV rental marketplace in the U.S. Amazing if you’re going camping, on a road trip, or even for a special event. RV Share also offers roadside assistance. Think of the RV version of Airbnb as basically what RV Share is.
